I really can’t recommend Annebeth enough. I started lessons with her with a very pragmatic goal – pass PD3. I had already spent about a year learning Danish intensively at a language school, and while I felt reasonably comfortable with reading and writing, speaking was a completely different story – I simply didn’t dare to speak outside the classroom.
So we focused on speaking. And I really enjoyed every single lesson. Annebeth is a fantastic teacher – she has a way of explaining even tricky language things so they suddenly make sense. She’s also just a wonderful person and so much fun to talk to. The lessons were always fun – she has a brilliant sense of humour, – and an hour sometimes felt like five minutes. I always wished we had a bit more time.
In the end, I got 12 in the speaking part of PD3! And Annebeth deserves a good share of the credit for that. Now that the exam is over, I actually miss our lessons.
